Education Exhibition Hallway

The artworks in this exhibition were produced by students from BPS #84 (Health Care Center for Children @ ECMC). The school has approximately 220 students who range in age from 5 to 21. Students who attend BPS #84 have multiple disabilities and often require additional services during their school day, including occupational therapy; physical therapy; and auditory, visual, mobility, and speech services. Many of the students have physical and cognitive disabilities which involve needing modified tools, lessons, and materials in the classroom.

During the summer of 2019, the BPS #84 art program collaborated with the Albright-Knox's Access AK: Creative Connection program to implement unique, engaging projects for students. During the two-week partnership, students explored a variety of processes, materials, and artists connected to the “Amusement Park” theme.

Admission to this exhibition is free on M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY.
