Artwork by student in the Cleveland Hill School District

Education Exhibition Hallway

The Cleveland Hill School District is proud to present Extravagant Inspiration: Constructing Urban Creativity: Revisiting the Cleveland Hill Collection. Art students in sixth to twelfth grade had their artwork selected to represent Cleveland Hill’s finest. These works include detailed pencil drawings, acrylic paintings, multimedia collages, altered books, plaster sculptures, bold colored pencil studies, ceramic color wheel clocks, and watercolor works.

For the last decade, art teachers Carmella Paternostro and Bonnie Peters have been working together to inspire Cleveland Hill’s students. Their students explore media techniques, composition, and design while observing and analyzing famous works from different cultures and time periods up through contemporary art. Imagination, perseverance, and hands-on learning help foster the creative minds at Cleveland Hill. Cleveland Hill School District is located in the heart of Cheektowaga, New York, and is committed to achievement and growth with the balance of academics and the arts. We hope you enjoy the creativity and efforts created by our wonderful students. Go Eagles!

Admission to this exhibition is free on M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY.
